I was at work pretty late last night and so I wasn’t able to watch yesterday’s Tour de France stage. Which is sad, because I’m sure it’ll turn out to be one of the most exciting stages of this year’s tour.
I love European cities that are millennia old, situated on a hilltop, and surrounded by a large stone wall. Nothing in America really compares to that. For example, Carcassonne in France or the Alhambra of Granada, Spain.
There’s a really awesome Comcast commercial where there’s a guy in a mental hospital and there’s a doctor holding up flash cards with things on them like “1+4=?” and “3+0=?” And the guy is like, “74! 19!” And then he moves his arm really quickly and catches a fly with chopsticks. And then the narrator says, “Comcast–stupid fast.”
My stove has a pilot light? How lame is that. It’s pretty old.
Oh, I bought a CD by Anglefish. It’s the band Shirley Manson was in before Garbage. I like it. Also, we were playing some background music at work on Thursday and one of the songs was a remix of the Lawrence of Arabia score and I totally recognized it. I’ve only seen Lawrence of Arabia once, so mad props to the composer. Now I want to watch the movie again.
Where are the cheetahs?
They’ve escaped!
