Meebo for Google’s Android Platform

Last Thursday night we released our Meebo application for Android-based cell phones like the T-Mobile G1. Search for “Meebo” in the Android Market if you have a G1. For more information, see my post on the Meebo blog, the page about it on the Meebo web site, and the video demo we made.

It’s still pretty bare-bones, but we’re working on adding more basic functionality over the next few weeks.

I don’t know if you know these numbers, or if you are allowed to share them if you did, so feel free to skip this question, but…

Do you have any idea how many people use Meebo on the web vs iPhone vs potentially on the G1?

I don’t know how many people use what per day, but right now there are 103,917 people on the web, 1,241 on the iphone, and 67 using Android. Those numbers aren’t perfect. And it’s kind of a weird time for us right now, too–it’s still pretty early in the morning in Europe, and the US is still at weekend-traffic levels (weekdays are busier).
