Wedding: Planes and Hotels

Emily and I mailed out all our invitations a few weeks ago and everyone who was invited should have received it by now. We have a block of rooms at two hotels in Palo Alto. Please see our wedding website for the gory details, and let me know if you have any questions.

Flights are still relatively cheap, so book your flight RIGHT NOW if you haven’t already. We recommend flying into either SFO (San Francisco) or SJC (San Jose). Flying to the OAK (Oakland) airport is also manageable, but certainly less convenient. And don’t forget to check Southwest, JetBlue and especially Virgin America (if you’re coming from New York or Seattle).

Remember that all wedding guests are invited to the rehearsal dinner on Friday night. But don’t feel pressured to attend if it’s inconvenient for you.

Edit: And if you haven’t gotten an invitation but think you should have please ask! There were four that we know of that seem to have been lost. Which seems strange to me because I’ve never had a Netflix movie lost.

And man, I forgot about virgin america and we bought our tickets on southwest.

Aw, I should have posted sooner! My bad.

We don’t have a concrete time for the rehearsal dinner yet, but we’re thinking it’ll start around 7. And we might do some kind of hors d’œuvre for the first little bit.

Aw, that’s cool – I like Southwest, despite their recent troubles, but I am curious to try Virgin. I’ll just have to take another trip!

And cool – I think we get in around 5pm on Friday, so we should be rockin’ and rollin’.

Only one of our wedding invitations got lost that I know of. Which was weird, because I sent two invitations to the same address to two different people. One person got hers and the other didn’t.
