Allow me to follow-up that last post with some completely-unrelated pictures from a month ago. Emily and I took a weekend camping trip. On Saturday we climbed at a place called The Grotto. I think it’s near New Melones Lake. I didn’t take many pictures there. This is the good one:

We camped on Lake Tulloch, I think. The next day we drove over to Yosemite Valley and made excellent use of Tommy and Penney’s wedding gift of a National Park’s Pass (thanks guys!) It was our first times there. It’s a pretty neat place. More touristy than I expected–I like my wilderness to be secluded. I guess other parts of Yosemite National Park are probably a lot less bustling.
